The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the lead Logistics Management Specialist for the Product Support and Sustainment Branch (AFSC/A4FD). The incumbent performs technical and administrative team lead duties over subordinate employees by identifying, distributing, and balancing workloads, and coaching team operations. Additionally, the position provides centralized oversight by planning, coordinating, and evaluating logistics and supply chain requirements to synchronize efforts supporting wholesale, depot supply, and maintenance functions. The incumbent will support development, implementation and/or functions as part of AFSC's Logistics Readiness and Depot Maintenance Division. Revolutionize Depot and Supply Chain operations with unparalleled visibility, achieved through strategic policy, streamline processes and robust governance.

Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

1. Ability to plan, organize, lead functions, mentor and motivate the staff of an organization.

2. Extensive knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques for the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of the program and/or strategic sourcing.

3. Master knowledge of overall missions, functions, and organization of the agency or component. Ability to apply the knowledge to evaluate current organizational strategies and performance.

4. Extensive knowledge of organizational concepts, principles, and practices as related to the requirements for performance-based logistics, acquisition, supply maintenance, procurement procedures, manufacturing, strategic sourcing, and other support areas.

5. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with accuracy, and maintain good working relations with all individuals and organizations.

6. Ability to work with, lead, and manage various groups or individuals to resolve difficult problems/situations related to organizational issues. Ability to understand and deploy lean concepts in problem resolution.

7. Skill in interpreting and applying complex DOD, USAF, AFMC, and AFSC regulations, methods, operating procedures, and policies, as well as developing methods and operating procedures as required.

8. Ability to utilize AoP concepts and initiatives to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of an organization.
