Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Lead Java Developer with strong expertise in React and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, develop, and lead the delivery of scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development, cloud-native architecture, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and development of enterprise-grade applications using Java and modern frameworks
- Architect and build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs
- Develop responsive front-end applications using React.js
- Implement cloud-native solutions leveraging GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Functions, and BigQuery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, and DevOps
- Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, and automated testing
- Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership
- Participate in CI/CD pipeline setup and optimization
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Required Skills & Qualifications: - 10+ years of experience in Java development
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience with React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Solid experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
- Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
- Prior experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- GCP certifications are a plus
