Job Title: Sr. Analyst, SAP Financials Job Code: 43472 Job Location: Melbourne, FL Job Schedule: 9/80 Job Description:This Senior SAP Financial Analyst position plays a key role in the design, implementation, support, and optimization of SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules to align with the financial reporting and business objectives of the organization. This role requires a strong blend of financial knowledge, technical expertise, and business process understanding to deliver efficient and compliant financial solutions.
Essential Functions:- Configure, support, and enhance various functional aspects of the SAP system landscape, particularly within the FI and CO modules.
- Troubleshoot application problems and manage daily issues and problem solving related to FICO.
- Implement and support business processes in areas such as Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Costing (CO), and Fixed Assets.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to SAP FI/CO processes.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications for SAP configuration and development, and provide expert guidance on best practices.
- Design and deliver solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and system integrity.
- Develop and execute test plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to validate the functionality and integrity of SAP FI/CO solutions.
- Ensure modifications and enhancements meet user expectations and comply with department standards and best practices.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with SAP FI/CO modules, including configuration, implementation, and support.
- At least one full lifecycle implementation experience with SAP S/4HANA is often required or preferred.
- Experience with integration points between FI/CO and other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, PS).
Preferred Additional Skills:- Strong functional knowledge of finance and accounting concepts and the ability to translate business needs into system solutions
- Analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary for identifying trends, troubleshooting issues, and managing priorities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills are vital for interacting with stakeholders and working effectively in a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data analysis).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience managing and executing migrations/upgrade projects.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Ability to handle confidential information with the highest level of integrity
- Experience working in a global shared services model with a centralized AP environment.
