  • Collaborate with technology teams to define standard network architectures based on end-to-end workflows.
  • Proactively monitor and manage network and server infrastructure to ensure high availability.

The Enterprise Data center and Network (DCN) Organization designs, implements and operates a state-of-the-art Information Systems Infrastructure serving around 110,000 employees, in over 700 locations across 65 plus countries. We work with the latest and emerging technologies to deliver scalable, high performing, and always available infrastructure services around the world. We deliver services that connect, host, virtualize, store, collaborate, integrate, compute and transact business solutions that utilizes cloud first, automation, analytics, "as a Service", BIG data and software defined. The Lead IT Architect within the Connectivity team is a key role in the development, delivery implementation and operational support of Network services at designated branch site.

You will report directly to our Senior IT Supervisor and you'll work out of our Charlotte NC or Atlanta GA locations on a Hybrid work schedule.

Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Subject Matter Expert for deploying and operating Data Center and Network infrastructure based on standardized architecture.
  • Design, build, and operate modern data networks, including transformation of legacy environments using Software Defined Networking (SDN), Network Function Virtualization (NFV), automation, and orchestration.
  • Design and deploy cloud network infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and GCP, including core networking components such as VNets/VPCs, subnets, routing, and peering.
  • Implement and manage secure hybrid connectivity solutions (e.g., Azure ExpressRoute, AWS Direct Connect, Google Cloud Interconnect).
  • Collaborate closely with factory and operational technology teams to understand end to end workflows and define standard network architectures.
  • Proactively monitor and manage network and server infrastructure to ensure high availability and minimize business disruptions.


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
  • 8+ years total IT Infrastructure experience on Data center Network and Cloud infrastructure design and implementation
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in configuring DataCenter Switching and Routing Networks and cloud Networking.

WE VALUE
  • Bachelors' Degree or 10+ years IT infrastructure experience
  • Preferred Qualification: AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Network Engineer
  • Prior experience designing and managing hybrid and multi cloud connectivity across Azure, AWS, GCP, and on prem data centers
  • Proficiency in connectivity solutions (ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, Interconnect, VPNs) for seamless integration
  • Prior experience maintaining governance, standards, and documentation for consistent network design
  • Familiarity with programming, scripting, developing code on Unix using API's, python or equivalent
  • Prior experience leading network operations and troubleshooting for hybrid and multi cloud environments and driving automation and standardization using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Strong knowledge in supporting the operations and maintenance of the VMware virtual infrastructure, including, but not limited to, vCenter Server Appliance, vRealize Operations Manager (vROps), vRealize.
  • Prior experience in delivering secure, scalable network architecture including routing, DNS, and traffic flow across environments
