Full Job Description
Primary Responsibilities

The Lead Integrated Systems Engineer will play a critical role in delivering products that meet our customers' expectations while advancing our manufacturing capabilities by working with various business units, new product development teams, and other functional groups. This role is responsible for delivering comprehensive solutions to test and assembly challenges. This position will be working with cross-functional teams, managing project deliverables, analyzing manufacturing data, and investigating new technologies. The ideal candidate must be able to work both autonomously and collaboratively, driving projects to completion with minimal oversight. Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business units, product development teams, and other functional groups to understand core product functionality, identify high risk areas within the assembly process, gather requirements and develop solutions to solve test and assembly challenges.
  • Solution Delivery: Design and implement integrated systems that address test and assembly issues, ensuring proper test coverage, seamless operation and optimization of manufacturing processes.
  • Autonomous Project Management: Independently manage and execute projects from inception to completion, leveraging multiple resources to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining scope and budget integrity.
  • Technology Development: Lead the investigation, evaluation, and implementation of new technologies to enhance manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and innovation.
  • Mentorship & Development: Mentor and develop engineering and technician talent within the organization, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
  • Upward Communication: Provide regular reports and presentations on the status and outcomes of testing activities to management and other stakeholders.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or better in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience working in control systems
  • Familiarity with electrical circuits, systems, serial communications, and/or functional test systems
  • Demonstrated programming experience
  • Good facilitation and communication skills
  • The ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing new technologies and standards
  • Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating initiative and drive to achieve results with minimal supervision


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with LabView, Python, Visual Basic, C++, PLC
  • Project management and leadership experience
  • Experience mentoring and developing engineering teams
