2026 Salary Range: $89,508.00 - $138,370.00/Year (includes locality)

The primary purpose of this position is to perform technical and administrative lead duties. Identify, distribute, assign and balance workload amongst employees by skill level, proficiency and/or occupational specialization. Establish deadlines and time frames for completion of assigned work. Monitor and report on status and progress of work. Assess the need to reassign projects to other team members based on workload or setting of new and shifting priorities. Provide frequent assessments to team members on work product, technical expertise, giving guidance and direction to correct any noted deficiencies and improve overall performance. Reports to supervisor on performance, progress, training needs and behavioral problems. Prepare reports and maintain records of work accomplishments and administrative information.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions of a unit and mentor, motivate and appraise subordinate staff.
2. Knowledge of organizational workload requirements, procedures and the substantive nature of operating programs and their inter-relationship. Knowledge of the missions and functional responsibilities of the division and branches, their requirements and logistics processes as they relate to the division. May include relationships with programs at other centers.
3. Ability to independently and collaboratively identify, analyze, and resolve complex problems, utilizing both long-term strategic planning and immediate tactical interventions.
4. Leadership ability to guide and direct a team to meet production needs, aligning tactical execution with overall strategic goals. Ability to meet or exceed customer expectations, building strong customer relationships and resolving issues effectively.
5. Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, in order to gather information, maintain, write and track contracts, and various other types of requirements for duties performed.
6. Knowledge of Exercise Evaluation, Overall Readiness Exercise and Inspection requirements.
7. Knowledge of labor standards, controls and reporting procedures.
8. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Additional Position Requirements:
1. Employee may be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours to include evenings and weekends and may be subject to recall.
2. Incumbent may be required to report to work during base exercises, contingencies, or emergency situations and overtime/comp time/credit hours may be required to accomplish
assigned duties.
