The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Human Resources Specialist, AcqDemo Program Manager, NH-0201-04 to work at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA.
The primary purpose of this position is to provide expert technical guidance and oversight across the full spectrum of DAF Acquisition Demonstration (AcqDemo) Program Office; advises organizations on various AcqDemo program elements for implementation and effective continuation. As an expert on the DAF AcqDemo team, you will lead the charge in transforming civilian personnel management policies and procedures. You will be directly responsible for developing and implementing all aspects of DAF-wide AcqDemo policy, creating strategic initiatives to retain, recognize, and reward the civilian acquisition workforce supporting the warfighter.
This is not a desk-bound role. You will serve as the hands-on face of the AcqDemo Program. Expect frequent and significant TDY travel to conduct on-site audits, facilitate pay pools with senior leaders, and deliver high-impact training directly to DAF organizations. Salary Range: $107,446 - $164,301. Does not include locality pay
Value of Position (VOP): If your current basic salary is within the band, but above the stated VOP, your basic salary will not be reduced if you are selected for the position.

Qualifications/Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship Required
Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise, obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance
May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY assignments.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead the Transition: Implement, train, and audit the full spectrum of AcqDemo flexibilities, including simplified job classification, broad banding, streamlined hiring, and contribution-based compensation/appraisal systems (CCAS).
Engage Senior Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor and primary focal point for AcqDemo conversions and expansions with DAF SES, General Officers, Flag Officers, and senior personnel.
On-Site Execution: Travel directly to DAF installations to lead large-scale, in-person training classes, facilitate high-stakes pay pools, and conduct compliance audits.
Joint Coordination: Author consolidated DAF responses and coordinate directly with the Department of War (DoW) AcqDemo Program Executive Office.
Key Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
A highly confident briefer capable of commanding rooms of all sizes and delivering clear, strategic messages to Senior and Executive Leaders.
Expert knowledge of civilian personnel program policies, techniques, and methodologies, with the ability to write comprehensive, enterprise-wide policy.
Expert knowledge of the AcqDemo framework and/or alternative personnel demonstration systems (desired but not required).
