Role SummaryAs a Lead, HR Business Partner, you will work closely with senior leaders across CTO, and COO organizations to drive forward key People strategies and enable the success of our teams. You will play a critical role in compensation planning, leveling frameworks, talent development, organizational design and HR transformation efforts, with a strong focus on day-to-day support, general HR queries, and people team programs deliverables within the People function.
This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on HR lead who thrives in fast-paced, global environments and enjoys solving complex people challenges while enabling innovation and growth. This position has a flex work schedule, 3 days a week in our Palo Alto, CA office.
Responsibilities- Strategic Business Partnership
- Serve as a trusted partner and advisor to senior leaders and managers, providing guidance on org design, leadership development, performance, and team health.
- Act as a cultural champion, helping teams adapt through rapid scale and transformation.
Compensation & Workforce Planning
- Lead and advise on compensation planning cycles, including merit, promotions, and equity programs.
- Partner with People Analytics and Compensation teams to ensure fair, data-informed, and equitable decisions.
HR Transformation & Program Delivery
- Support cross-functional HR projects focused on talent development, career leveling, and organization design.
- Support the integration of AI and digital tools in HR workflows to improve experience, efficiency, and decision-making.
Coaching & Development
- Provide hands-on coaching to managers and leaders to build high-performing, inclusive teams.
- Lead initiatives to strengthen leadership capability and career development frameworks across the organization.
Global & Operational HR Support
- Act as a point of contact for HR policies and employee relations in partnership with Legal, Compliance, and People Partner support model.
- Handle complex, sensitive issues with professionalism and sound judgment, ensuring consistency in a global context.
Qualifications- 8+ years of progressive HRBP or People Partner experience, ideally in high-growth, global tech environments.
- Experience supporting Engineering, Product, or Tech organizations.
- Deep knowledge of compensation practices, HR analytics, employee development, and performance management.
- Demonstrated experience with HR systems (Workday preferred) and data tools.
- Passion for innovation, digital transformation, and building great employee experiences.
- Strong business acumen, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills.
