Full Job Description
Purpose of Role

The purpose of the Under Armour High School Category Manager is to lead Under Armour's UA Next High School strategy by building elite program partnerships, creating premium athlete experiences, and increasing UA's brand presence, influence, and sales impact across high school sports.

Your Impact
• Own and execute the revamped UA Next high school strategy, positioning Under Armour as the premier brand in high school athletics through elite partnerships, events, and market visibility.
• Prospect and secure nationally ranked programs in Football, Basketball, Baseball/Softball, and Volleyball to bring into UA Next ecosystem, align with brand objectives, and drive sales volume in addition to brand awareness
• Ensure Athletes are outfitted to WIN with Under Armour. Drive compliance at all partnerships inclusive of maximizing sales in footwear and accessories in addition to uniforms, training, sideline, fan wear, etc.
• Lead the WIN and REWARD State Championship Initiative by tracking UA state champions, collecting seasonal data, and providing elevated product to celebrate team success.
• Launch and manage the UA Scholastic Invitational Series, hosting tournaments and exclusive experiences across key sports: Football, Basketball, Baseball/Softball, and Volleyball - in strategic regions nationwide.
• Serve as the primary account manager for IMG Academy, overseeing all aspects of the brand relationship, sales, and activation.
• Lead biannual High School Athletic Director Recruiting Visits at the Under Armour Sports House by targeting top programs, coordinating logistics and school needs, and partnering cross-functionally to deliver a premium recruiting experience.
• Provide leadership with consistent market and competitor insights while serving as the sales team's go-to resource for annual renewals, strategy alignment, and cross-functional support.

Qualifications

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore office.
  • Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office per week.

Base Compensation

$100,000.00-$135,000.00 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
