What will you do?

Technical Delivery

  • Own the Salesforce integration layer - Platform Events, REST/SOAP APIs, Connected Apps - bridging our cloud platform with Salesforce FSC
  • Dip into Apex and LWC when cross-platform features need it - build RBC branded components.
  • Review code with intent - architectural feedback, not just syntax
  • Contribute to platform modernization - technical debt reduction, shared standards, observability, DevSecOps
  • Follow RBC IT Compliance and Risk frameworks and derisk initiatives.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have
  • 8+ years building production software you're proud of
  • Fluent in .NET (C#) - you know when to use async, when not to, and why it matters
  • Hands-on with Kafka - you've built event-driven systems and dealt with what happens when they go wrong
  • Comfortable on Azure or AWS - you can write IaC, design for resilience, and own your deployments
  • Strong CI/CD instincts - automated pipelines, release governance, zero-touch deployments
  • React.js - hooks, state management, API integration, you've been here before
  • Salesforce exposure - APIs, Platform Events, enough Apex/LWC to collaborate effectively
  • Security-minded - OAuth 2.0, secrets management, compliance not as an afterthought
