ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Lead Application Developer, Full Stack role will be responsible for leading the broader process of developing and deploying enhancements and/or new applications used in local, networked, cloud-based or internet-related computer programs. They will use their extensive expertise in programming languages, tools, and delivery models, in conjunction with their methodology expertise to collaborate with various stakeholders and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products and solutions. This role requires an expert understanding of programming languages, tools, and delivery models, as well as the ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders. The incumbent will lead multiple stakeholders, including project teams, business analysts, and end-users, to ensure the development process is running smoothly. Ultimately, the incumbent will play a pivotal role in ensuring the organization's software applications are effective, efficient, and provide a seamless experience for the end-users.

Responsibilities

WHAT THE ROLE WILL DO:
  • Oversee the process of analyzing system requirements by providing guidance on translating requirements into software programming specifications and mentoring the team of engineers
  • Oversee and share perspective in the development, coding, integration, testing, and debugging of software applications using current programming languages, while leveraging the expertise of the team members and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions
  • Drive the creation of detailed and user-friendly documentation and procedures for the installation and maintenance of software, ensuring all best practices are being followed by the team
  • Drive strategies to manage and facilitate collaboration and communication with various stakeholders such as users, developers, and project managers to ensure timely delivery of products and solutions.
  • Encouraging the adoption of emerging technologies and programming languages that strategically aligning with the organization's overall technology roadmap and objectives

This position is eligible for hybrid schedule of three days in office with two days remote. Relocation assistance is offered.

Qualifications

WHAT THE INCUMBENT WILL NEED:
  • Education
    • Required
      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. In lieu of a degree, at least 9 years of experience in application development or application engineering

Requirements
  • 6-8 years of experience in software development, specifically in application development engineering
  • Extensive hand-on experience in designing, developing, and delivering scalable Microservices using Java Spring Boot and knowledge of React JS.
  • Experience in designing and integrating API and Event-driven systems.
  • Hands on experience with Application Performance Management tools like Dynatrace (or similar), and ability to drive performance improvements and proactively resolve issues.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or Ruby
  • Expertise in software development tools such as Git or Jenkins
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to mentor and coach junior developers

  • Experience in delivering enterprise solutions using Oracle Cloud tools including BIP Reports, OTBI, Oracle VBCS/PCS, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), while ensuring best practices and alignment with enterprise architecture.
  • Ability to deliver and guide the implementation of Azure services including Power Platform, Logic Apps, Azure APIM, and Azure Data Services, with a focus on building secure and scalable applications.
