Our technology enables healthcare organizations to design, deploy, and optimize HCP journeys through a scalable, self-service product that connects to their existing marketing and data systems. We are hiring a Lead Engineer, Front End to lead the architecture and hands-on delivery of the interfaces our customers use to build and manage HCP journeys. You will lead front-end engineering, hire and grow the team behind it, and partner closely with the back end lead and product designer so the platform's interface, data model, and design system evolve together. The team is small and we're building a lot, so there are a lot of opportunities for ownership and influence.
What You'll Do:

• Lead front-end architecture and hands-on delivery for the platform's user-facing product, from early prototypes through production.

• Lead the journey-builder canvas - a direct-manipulation, graph-based interface - as it scales to more complex journeys and larger data volumes.

• Define API contracts together with the back end lead, so the interface and the data model evolve as one system.

• Drive the code side of the design system and the design-to-code workflow, in partnership with the product designer, who leads the design system itself.

• Direct how AI-driven guardrails and model behavior are rendered and made trustworthy in the product.

• Hire and lead a front-end engineering team as it grows, setting a high bar for code quality and CI-enforced testing.

• Support and set standards for agentic coding on your team, backed by real company investment in the tools, not just tolerance for their use.

• Partner with product and design on problem definition, scope, and sequencing from the start of each effort.

What You Should Have:

• 8+ years in front-end or full-stack engineering, including 2+ years leading a team.

• Experience leading front-end architecture for a B2B or enterprise product, ideally one with a complex, data-dense, or direct-manipulation UI (a canvas, graph editor, or similar).

• Track record hiring and growing engineers, and running a technical interview loop from scratch.

• Comfortable directing and reviewing agentic or AI-assisted coding, with the judgment to know what to hold to human review regardless of how the code was produced.

• Fluency defining and maintaining API contracts across a team boundary.

• Ability to turn ambiguous product problems into a sequenced, shippable technical plan.

• Comfort with ambiguity and a fast-moving, still-small engineering org.

• Bonus points for pharma or HCP marketing experience - or any complex, regulated marketing data environment (ad tech, financial services marketing, health systems).

Pay Range: $175,000-$200,000
