Job Description:

Corporate Headquarters of L3Harris Technologies has an opening for a Finance Lead to join our team in Melbourne, FL. This individual will be the Cost Planning Analyst for Corporate Headquarters, supporting executive leadership with detailed reporting and proactive analysis of the departmental expenses. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and communicating with senior leadership. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to optimize financial performance and support strategic decision-making.

Essential Functions:
  • Serves as primary contact for corporate financials
  • Leads the annual planning cycle with comprehensive reports and proactive recommendations to leadership
  • Provides timely and accurate monthly reporting including variance and trend analysis for management review
  • Provides financial guidance to budget owners
  • Identifies and monitors the Risk and Opportunities to meet targets, alerts leadership, and recommends areas for closure through trend analysis and specific actions
  • Supports the development of Forward Pricing Rate Proposals, performs variance analysis, and owns the monthly allocation billings
  • Streamlines and automates processes for transforming financial data into decision making information
  • Supports internal and external audit/compliance requirements
  • Prepares various ad hoc analyses, reports, and presentations


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

  • Self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with people of all levels within the organization
  • Proactively solves problems and issues in a timely manner with general supervision
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining financial models.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $105,500-$196,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $91,500-$170,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
