POSITION: Lead Environmental Engineer LOCATION: Graniteville, SC WORK TYPE: Onsite SALARY: $110,000 - $130,000/yr (with 10% target annual bonus) TYPE: Permanent CATEGORY: Manufacturing / Mechanical JOB DESCRIPTION: This is a backfill position with a leading Manufacturing / Mechanical organization. The successful candidate will lead large projects or processes of complex scope with limited oversight from management. Key responsibilities include: • Lead large projects or processes of complex scope with limited oversight from manager • Coach, review, and delegate work to lower-level professionals • Assist in the development of operational plans and implement solutions for assigned responsibility areas • Identify continuous improvement and automation activities, making frequent recommendations based on detailed analyses and applying results to drive improvements • Adapt precedent and holistically change standard operating procedures to develop new solutions • Support relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders • Perform other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must demonstrate: • Experience with SOP holistic redesign • Proven ability to identify automation opportunities • Experience coaching junior professionals • Track record leading complex projects with autonomy • Capability to conduct detailed analysis for process improvement • Experience developing operational plans • Strong negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders RELOCATION: Relocation assistance is available.
