The Job:As aLead Engineer, Electronics System Engineer, you’ll be part of ourEngineeringteam working as anon-siteemployee. You’ll get to:
- Develop, review, and maintain technical standards and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational quality expectations.
- Set and drive system architecture definition and engineering standards for new product development while partnering with cross-functional product development teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in design processes and methodologies.
- Manage tasks effectively based on project schedules and scope in a fast-paced environment, while proactively identifying and mitigating scope creep.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, hardware, and software teams to ensure seamless integration of electronic systems.
- Evaluate schematics and layout design practices and quickly identify single-fault failures and other critical design risks.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams developing electronic hardware designs for the power tool industry.
- Conduct design reviews of technical documentation and electrical designs with a focus on system safety, product quality, and engineering best practices.
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex electronic issues across products and platforms.
- Participate in safety reviews, conduct system fault hazard analysis, and assess platformed component integration for compatibility, functionality, and best practices.

- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field at minimum.
- 12+ years of experience in electronics design within a relevant industry.
- 5+ years of experience managing, coaching, and developing individuals within a similar discipline.
- Highly developed knowledge, understanding, and application of electronics and electrical systems.
- Broad experience with a strong background in analog and digital circuit design, embedded systems, and PCB layout.
- Understanding of electronics manufacturing, high-volume production design, and fault-tolerant design practices.
- Experience with embedded systems; battery management systems, chargers, and motor control systems are desired.
- Knowledge in areas such as switch-mode power supply design, electric motor controls, lithium-ion battery management, and AC/DC or brushless motors.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, leadership, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel globally as needed.

The Salary range for this position is $110,600.00 - $178,000.00
This is the lowest to highest annual full-time salary range we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The salary offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements.
