- Provide technical leadership across the Trading Analytics stack, setting direction on architecture, performance, and code quality.
- Design, build, and maintain core services in Java and Python, with a strong focus on numerical accuracy and computational efficiency.
- Partner with Data Science and Product teams to translate quantitative models into scalable, low-latency, production-ready systems.
- Translate domain requirements from BAs and quants into robust software that supports real-world trading workflows.
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing cloud-native applications using AWS services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, IAM, as well as automating deployments and infrastructure using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on experience building ETL pipelines using Databricks and developing notebooks and jobs in PySpark for large-scale data processing and analytics
- Strong proficiency in Java and Python, with a track record of shipping high-performance, multi-threaded, production-grade applications.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor) and a demonstrated ability to use them effectively to accelerate development without compromising code quality.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across quants, product managers, and engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with capital markets and fixed income instruments.
