The Atlas Team operates at the intersection of Vehicle Design and Software/Data Engineering. We’re seeking a candidate to help us build out our application ecosystem!
Responsibilities
- Transform raw, complex data into governed high-performance pipelines using cutting-edge tools such as Databricks
- Build and rigorously test data products to support analytics, operational reporting, and real-time decision-making
- Build scalable pipelines that bring together data from legacy and modern enterprise platforms including DB2, Teradata, Hadoop, and Snowflake
- Lead the design and delivery of Azure based data engineering solutions using ADF, ADLS, and Databricks
- Define, enforce, and educate the team on data engineering standards
- Build RESTful APIs, event-driven pipelines, and integrate third-party services
- Support CI/CD deployments, auditing, and troubleshooting across environments
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of data engineering, data quality and/or analytics or statistical analysis experience
OR
- Master's degree and at least 1 year of data engineering, data quality and/or analytics or statistical analysis experience
OR
- At least 5 years of data engineering, data quality and/or analytics or statistical analysis experience
Additional Requirements
- Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills
- 5 years of data engineering, data quality/analytics, statistics or related experience
- Take pride in clean code, scalable systems, documentation, and rigorous testing
- Collaborative mindset that seeks constructive feedback and offers coaching to more junior teammates
- Excellent in languages such as SQL, Python, and PySpark
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based data platforms such as Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or Databricks
- Deep understanding of data engineering concepts such as medallion architecture, data governance, and distributed systems
