Lead Data Analyst role in a global organization responsible for guiding advanced analytics initiatives using Snowflake QlikView Tableau SAS Dataiku Python and SQL scripting in a hybrid work model. The role focuses on exploratory data analysis insight generation and analytic solution delivery that supports strategic decision making and creates measurable value for business stakeholders and society through data informed outcomes.
Responsibilities- Lead complex end to end analytics engagements by translating business problems into structured analytical questions and delivering data driven solutions that improve operational efficiency and strategic outcomes for the company and its customers.
- Drive exploratory data analysis using robust statistical methods to discover patterns quantify trends and identify actionable opportunities that inform product strategies risk mitigation approaches and service improvements.
- Oversee design and optimization of data models and pipelines in Snowflake to ensure reliable scalable and performant data environments that support interactive reporting advanced analytics and downstream applications.
- Provide technical guidance on the effective use of QlikView and Tableau for building intuitive dashboards and visual analytics that enable stakeholders to quickly interpret key metrics and act on timely insights.
- Coordinate the use of SAS for advanced statistical analysis predictive modeling and segmentation ensuring that methods are rigorously validated and aligned with business objectives and regulatory expectations.
- Utilize Dataiku to orchestrate collaborative data projects automate feature engineering workflows and streamline deployment of analytical assets thereby shortening the cycle from data discovery to production value.
- Apply Python and SQL scripting to design reusable analytic components implement complex data transformations and perform large scale data quality checks that strengthen trust in enterprise information assets.
- Guide hybrid work collaboration by establishing clear analytic delivery standards maintaining documentation and using secure shared environments so that distributed team members can contribute effectively and consistently.
- Engage with business partners to clarify analytical requirements prioritize backlogs and communicate findings in accessible narratives that show concrete business impact and societal benefits of data informed decisions.
- Ensure robust governance of analytic outputs by applying reproducible research practices version control and peer review thereby reducing risk and improving transparency in critical data driven processes.
- Mentor junior analysts in best practices for exploratory analysis visualization design and coding discipline so that the broader analytics community within the company continuously grows skills and maturity.
- Collaborate with technology teams to troubleshoot data integration issues refine data ingestion strategies and coordinate schema changes that protect the stability and usability of reporting and analytics solutions.
- Monitor performance of deployed dashboards and analytical models gather feedback from users and iteratively enhance features so that tools remain relevant user friendly and aligned with evolving business needs.
Qualifications- Demonstrate extensive experience in Snowflake based data warehousing with strong capability to design efficient schemas optimize queries and manage large scale analytic data sets for business reporting.
- Show advanced proficiency in QlikView and Tableau including development of complex dashboards interactive visuals and parameter driven analytics that support diverse stakeholder groups across the organization.
- Possess strong hands on expertise in SAS for statistical modeling regression analysis forecasting and hypothesis testing with practical experience applying these techniques to real world business contexts.
- Exhibit solid capability in Python programming and SQL scripting for building robust data pipelines conducting exploratory analysis automating repetitive tasks and integrating results into reporting solutions.
- Bring proven experience in using Dataiku or similar platforms to manage collaborative projects orchestrate machine learning workflows and operationalize analytics in governed production environments.
- Maintain deep understanding of exploratory data analysis concepts including data profiling outlier detection correlation assessment and feature evaluation to ensure insights are grounded in rigorous evidence.
