This is an exciting opportunity to join Covenant Health in a newly created leadership role at a pivotal time in healthcare transformation.As Program Lead, Digital Health, you will have the rare opportunity to help build and shape a growing digital health (Connect Care) portfolio that directly impacts patients, clinicians, and healthcare teams across the organization. Description:

Reporting to the Corporate Director, Strategic Analytics, Health Information Management, Privacy and Digital Health, the Program Lead, Digital Health is a newly created leadership role responsible for advancing Connect Care adoption and optimization across the organization. The position leads the planning, implementation, optimization, and sustainment of Connect Care and third-party applications that enhance patient care, improve operational effectiveness, and support organizational priorities. The Program Lead partners with clinical, operational, and executive leaders to translate business needs into innovative solutions while fostering collaboration across programs, portfolios, and provincial stakeholders.This role offers a unique opportunity to help shape the future of Connect Care within Covenant Health during a period of healthcare transformation. Working in a dynamic environment, the Program Lead will influence digital health strategy, lead enterprise initiatives, support organizational readiness and change management, and contribute to provincial digital health priorities. The incumbent will build and maintain relationships with Alberta Health Services, Health Shared Services, and external partners while ensuring initiatives align with organizational objectives, regulatory requirements, information governance principles, and leading practices.As a people and program leader, the Program Lead fosters a culture of innovation, accountability, continuous improvement, and service excellence. The position is accountable for delivering measurable outcomes through effective leadership, resource stewardship, stakeholder engagement, and change management, ensuring digital health initiatives support exceptional care experiences for patients, residents, families, physicians, staff, and volunteers. This position is non-unionized.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Health Administration, Business Administration, Information Technology, Health Sciences, Nursing, or a related field. Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in digital health, healthcare technology, clinical informatics, healthcare operations, healthcare transformation, quality improvement, or a related healthcare environment. Detailed knowledge and experience with Connect Care and other Epic systems.

Additional Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience leading complex initiatives, projects, or programs that involve multiple stakeholders, organizational change, and competing priorities. Strong relationship-building, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence decisions and build consensus across clinical, operational, and leadership groups. Demonstrated knowledge of digital health technologies, healthcare information systems, clinical workflows, project management, and change management principles. Proven analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into practical solutions and measurable outcomes. Demonstrated commitment to collaboration, innovation, continuous improvement, and the delivery of high-quality person-centred care. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, Health Informatics, Leadership, or a related field. Professional certification such as PMP, PROSCI, CHE, CPHIMS, or Lean. Experience with Connect Care, provincial digital health initiatives, healthcare transformation, analytics, information management, privacy, or artificial intelligence.
