The Role

We're hiring aLead Corporate Investigator to lead complex internal investigations into employee conduct, workplace concerns, and business integrity matters. This role will report to the Manager of Corporate Investigations and sits at the center of difficult, often ambiguous situations-requiring the ability to assess risk, navigate competing perspectives, and deliver fact-based outcomes that stand up to scrutiny.

You'll partner closely with Human Resources, Legal, and senior stakeholders, working through sensitive issues with discretion while maintaining independence and objectivity. The work can be fast-paced and nuanced, but it's also high-impact-helping ensure we operate in a way that aligns with our standards and supports a fair, consistent employee experience.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end internal investigations involving employee misconduct, ethics concerns, and business integrity matters
  • Manage multiple investigations concurrently, prioritizing based on risk, complexity, and business impact
  • Conduct interviews with employees, witnesses, and stakeholders using a neutral, thoughtful, and professional approach
  • Analyze facts, documentation, and patterns to develop clear, well-supported findings
  • Produce high-quality Reports of Investigation; clarity, structure, and sound reasoning are critical
  • Present findings and recommendations to Human Resources, Legal, and senior stakeholders with confidence and credibility
  • Exercise sound judgment and maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive matters
  • Operate effectively within a remote environment, staying connected and responsive across stakeholders
  • Contribute to broader Ethics & Compliance initiatives as priorities evolve


What We Look For in a Candidate

Required:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Demonstrated experience conducting investigations (internal investigations strongly preferred)
  • Background in employee relations, employment law, or workplace investigations
  • Strong written communication skills, including drafting detailed investigative reports
  • Ability to manage multiple cases independently in a remote environment
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to handle highly sensitive matters
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust while remaining objective

Preferred:
  • Exposure to EEO, misconduct, or employee relations investigations
  • Background in employment law
  • Familiarity with business integrity issues (e.g., fraud, compliance-related matters)


Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

Location Based Pay Ranges
$84,629 - $112,838 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY
$88,860 - $118,480 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI
$93,092 - $124,122 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
