About Us

We are seeking a licensed Lead Civil Engineer (PE) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, project management skills, and a passion for designing and overseeing civil engineering projects from concept to completion.

Here's What You'll Be Doing

  • Consults with and guides project stakeholders and managerial staff regarding engineering requirements for the construction of various designs and modifications for a given project.
  • Plans and designs to accurately render and communicate designs; plans and designs other necessary and related systems of Civil Engineering.
  • Plans projects based on the analysis of relevant materials, including drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, survey reports, maps, and other geologic and topographical data.
  • Drafts and presents reports on topics related to projects.
  • Estimates materials, equipment, and labor needed to determine project costs.
  • Evaluate the physical conditions of the worksite to aid in design plans.
  • Conduct assessments of damage at worksites.
  • Collaborates with architects and contractors to ensure projects progress properly.
  • Collaborates with surveyors (or directs and participates in surveying) to establish installations or reference points, grades, elevations, and other factors that will affect construction.
  • Monitors project progress and ensures design specifications, safety, and sanitation standards are met.
  • Upon project completion, inspects, repairs, and maintains the structures as needed.


The Criteria for Joining Our Team

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in certification in engineering, science, mathematics, or other relevant discipline.


License (s):
  • Professional Engineer license
  • Valid driver's license


Experience
  • Over four years up to and including eight years of experience in managing, designing, planning, and/or constructing projects of moderate complexity and scale.


Supervision
  • Work requires functioning as a lead worker performing essentially the same job as those directed and includes overseeing work quality, training, instructing, and scheduling work.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Thorough understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and tools.
  • Thorough understanding of safety regulations related to assigned projects.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and accurate.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to manage projects efficiently and within budget.
  • Ability to be both creative and analytical.
  • Proficient in computer-assisted design (CAD) and other design, data recording, and analysis software.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to acclimate to project management software or related software.
