As a Lead Business Systems Analyst, you will operate at the intersection of strategy, technology, and delivery, shaping complex, enterprise-scale initiatives that define the future of Payments. You will provide thought leadership, domain expertise, and execution oversight, while mentoring analysts and influencing senior stakeholders across business and technology.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Lead end-to-end business analysis strategy for large, complex, and cross-platform Payments initiatives.
  • Act as a senior advisor to Product Owners, Engineering Leads, and business executives.
  • Own and govern requirements quality, traceability, and outcomes across multiple workstreams or programs.
  • Drive enterprise-level discovery, including current-state assessment, target-state definition, and roadmap development.
  • Lead executive-level workshops and design sessions to align stakeholders on vision and scope.
  • Translate strategic objectives into clear epics, features, and functional specifications.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, and operationally ready.
  • Serve as a Payments domain thought leader and subject matter expert.
  • Coach and develop Business Systems Analysts, raising the bar for analysis excellence.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce risk, and improve customer outcomes.

  • 8+ years of progressive experience across fintech, technology, or consulting environments, leading complex, enterprise-scale initiatives.
  • Proven experience leading analysis across multiple teams or enterprise programs.
  • Strong ability to connect business strategy to technology delivery.
  • Exceptional communication and executive-level facilitation skills.
  • Experience with enterprise gap analysis, impact assessment, and target-state design.
  • Hands-on experience with Mural, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, regulated, and ambiguous environments.
  • Strong coaching and people-development mindset.
  • Payments domain expertise (EFT, ISO 20022, wires, clearing & settlement) strongly preferred.
  • Banking or Financial Services experience is an asset.
