Dans un contexte de transformation numérique de l'industrie aéronautique, ce rôle s'adresse à un leader chevronné, dynamique et orienté vers les résultats. En tant que membre clé de l'équipe des Technologies Numériques, vous orchestrerez la stratégie, l'évolution et le support des solutions logicielles liées à l'outillage et aux applications manufacturières. Vous agirez comme pivot central entre les besoins d'affaires et l'exécution technologique, tout en encadrant une équipe de professionnels dévoués.

Le poste s'effectue à notre établissement de Longueuil, du lundi au vendredi, selon des horaires flexibles et exclusivement en présentiel.

À quoi ressemblera votre quotidien ?
  • Gestion de plateforme: Responsable de la vision, de la feuille de route et du cycle de vie complet de la plateforme d'Outillage.
  • Partenariat d'affaires: Bâtir et maintenir des relations de confiance avec les parties prenantes et assurer l'alignement des solutions avec les objectifs stratégiques de l'entreprise.
  • Gestion de projets et gouvernance: Planifier, prioriser et superviser l'exécution des projets mineurs de développement et d'amélioration. Assurer la gouvernance de projet pour les projets majeurs.
  • Encadrement d'équipe: Diriger, motiver et encadrer une équipe technique (développeurs); favoriser un environnement de collaboration et d'excellence technique.
  • Support et Gestion du support: Participer au support fonctionnel. Organiser et optimiser la structure de support opérationnel pour garantir la haute disponibilité et la performance des applications critiques.
  • Gestion des fournisseurs: Piloter les partenaires et fournisseurs de services externes pour l'exécution de projets et les services de support.
  • Gouvernance et standards: Définir et promouvoir l'utilisation de standards, de procédures DevOps et de revues de conception pour assurer la qualité et la maintenabilité des solutions.


Qu'est-ce qu'il vous faut pour réussir ?
  • Baccalauréat en génie logiciel, informatique, génie de la production automatisée génie mécanique ou domaine connexe.
  • Minimum de 10 ans d'expérience pertinente, incluant de l'expérience dans un rôle de leadership d'équipe, de gestion de projet ou de gestion de plateforme applicative.
  • Solide compréhension des processus de fabrication, de la planification manufacturière et des environnements d'outillage.
  • Capacité démontrée à exercer un leadership d'influence, à mobiliser des équipes multidisciplinaires et à naviguer dans des structures organisationnelles complexes.
  • Excellente capacité à vulgariser des enjeux techniques pour des auditoires non techniques et à communiquer efficacement à tous les niveaux de la direction.
  • Connaissances du cycle de vie de développement logiciel (SDLC) et des méthodologies Agile/DevOps.
  • Ce poste s'inscrit dans un milieu de travail francophone, néanmoins il nécessite une très bonne connaissance de l'anglais pour lire et comprendre, sur une base quotidienne, de la documentation et des termes techniques qui peuvent émaner d'organisations internationales, ainsi que pour écrire et communiquer en anglais avec des clients, des fournisseurs ou des collègues internationaux.

Job Title: Application Lead - Tooling & Manufacturing Applications

What will your day-to-day look like?
  • Platform Management: Responsible for the vision, roadmap, and full lifecycle of the Tooling platform.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders and strategic alignment with business objectives.
  • Project Management & Execution: Plan, prioritize, and oversee the execution of development and enhancement projects (minor projects.) Ensure project governance (major projects.)
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor a technical team (developers); foster an environment of collaboration and technical excellence.
  • Support Organization: Contribute to functional support. Organize and optimize the operational support structure to ensure high availability and performance of critical applications.
  • Vendor Management: Manage external service providers and vendors for project execution and support services.
  • Governance & Standards: Define and promote the use of standards, DevOps procedures, and design reviews to ensure solution quality and maintainability.


What do you need to be successful?
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Automated Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including experience in team leadership, project management, or platform management role.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and tooling environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise influential leadership, mobilize multidisciplinary teams, and navigate complex organizational structures.
  • Excellent ability to simplify complex technical issues for non-technical audiences and communicate effectively at all levels of management.
  • Knowledge in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/DevOps methodologies.
  • This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
