Full Job Description
The Lead Full-Stack Developer is the senior technical lead for full-stack application engineering across the Forge portfolio. This role owns the architecture, delivery standards, and implementation quality for user-facing applications, AI-integrated interfaces, workflow tools, and enterprise-grade application services that operationalize Forge capabilities at scale. This is a hands-on lead engineering role. The developer sets technical direction, makes architecture decisions, drives code quality, leads delivery execution, and serves as the senior technical voice for full-stack engineering across front-end, back-end, API, and integration layers. The role is expected to build, review, guide, and elevate the engineering team while remaining an active production contributor. Daily work includes designing application architecture, driving sprint delivery, leading code reviews, building complex features and integrations, setting engineering standards, partnering with product and design, and ensuring AI-enabled applications are performant, secure, accessible, observable, and production-ready. Specific activities may change from time to time. 3 Own the technical direction, architecture, and delivery standards for full-stack application engineering across the Forge portfolio. 3 Design and build enterprise-grade applications, AI-integrated interfaces, workflow tools, and administrative systems that bring Forge capabilities into production use. 3 Lead code reviews, architecture decisions, design discussions, and technical planning sessions across the full-stack engineering team. 3 Set and enforce engineering standards for front-end quality, API design, integration patterns, testing coverage, observability, and release readiness. 3 Build and maintain reusable UI components, application modules, API services, and integration patterns that reduce duplication and accelerate delivery across the portfolio. 3 Drive sprint execution as a senior technical builder - writing production code, resolving complex implementation challenges, and modeling the engineering quality bar for the team. 3 Partner with product, design, AI engineering, agentic engineering, security, QA, and platform teams to deliver AI-enabled applications that are useful, governed, and production-ready. 3 Mentor and elevate full-stack engineers through code reviews, pairing, technical feedback, and implementation guidance. 3 Own observability, performance, reliability, and operational readiness of application-layer services and user-facing capabilities. 3 Translate product and business requirements into technically sound implementation plans, sequenced delivery, and engineering estimates. 3 Contribute reusable architecture patterns, reference implementations, and senior-level engineering judgment to the broader Forge engineering organization. QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Equivalent combination of advanced education and related experience, which could include any combination of: Ten years' experience managing software engineers and systems analysts, Five years' relevant business experience (i.e. making technical-related decisions on the business side), Fiveyears' managing a large staff, (including managing managers), and Five years' experience with budget responsibilities 2. Ability to translate enterprise level strategic planning information into software and data management needs, create business plans, and turn them into effective business solutions 3. Executive level communications skills, including, strong negotiation/facilitation/presentation skills and experience negotiating with vendors for relevant products and services 4. Significant knowledge of current and emerging application software products and tools 5. Extensive project management experience to include multi-million dollar projects completed on time, within budget and delivering quality results 6. Strong analytical and architectural skills 7. Ability to manage a high volume of internal client relationships 8. Knowledge of all phases of software engineering life cycle and experience with process improvement models Preferred Qualifications: 3 8+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, including demonstrated experience as a technical lead or senior-level individual contributor in enterprise application delivery. 3 Expert-level front-end engineering skills with modern JavaScript/TypeScript, React, or comparable component-based UI development frameworks. 3 Strong back-end engineering skills building APIs, microservices, and application logic in modern enterprise engineering stacks. 3 Experience designing application architectures that integrate AI services, agent outputs, workflow automation, and enterprise data securely and at scale. 3 Demonstrated ability to set technical standards, lead code reviews, drive architectural decisions, and elevate engineering quality across a team. 3 Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, observability, release controls, and production operations for complex enterprise application systems. 3 Experience leading full-stack application delivery for AI-enabled products, copilots, workflow automation tools, or intelligent enterprise interfaces. 3 Experience with Microsoft, Azure, Copilot / Copilot Studio, Power Platform, or enterprise AI productivity and workflow ecosystems. 3 Experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, Python-based APIs, or comparable modern full-stack application stacks at production scale. 3 Experience with design systems, accessibility implementation, and high-quality business application UI standards. 3 Experience in financial services, cybersecurity, or other regulated enterprise environments with strong audit, control, and release expectations. 3 Experience mentoring engineers, leading technical delivery, and functioning as a principal-level builder with broad organizational impact. 3 Experience with enterprise API management, integration platforms, and secure service-to-service communication patterns.
