Position: Oracle Database Administrator

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina

Overview:

Wipro Technologies is seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator to join our dynamic team in Raleigh, North Carolina. As an Oracle Database Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing database systems that are essential to our operations.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases while ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
  • Conduct database backup and recovery operations, troubleshooting issues as necessary to minimize downtime.
  • Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data and maintain compliance with industry standards.
  • Optimize database performance by monitoring resource usage and making adjustments as needed.
  • Work closely with application development teams to provide database support and optimize queries.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to database architecture, processes, and procedures.
  • Stay updated on the latest database technologies and trends to recommend improvements and enhancements.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Mandatory Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience with PostgreSQL, Azure Cloud, DevOps methodologies, and Unix environments.

The expected annual compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
