Job DescriptionRole and Responsibility: - Lead day-to-day production operations across platforms including MS SQL Server, Oracle, Informatica, and Unix-based systems.
- Monitor and maintain the health, availability, and performance of production applications using tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk.
- Monitor and manage batch scheduling and orchestration using Autosys, Quartz, or Airflow schedulers
- Own incidents: triage, root cause analysis, resolution, communication, and prevention of recurrence.
- Support production Services functions, including: Incident/Problem Management, Change/Configuration Management, Release Deployment Readiness, Capacity Availability Management and Monitoring Service Analytics
- Create comprehensive documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Proactively identify production risks and drive incident, problem, and change management processes end-to-end.
- Support heterogeneous environments that include Java applications, Unix shell scripting, Python, and Perl.
- Ensure all production services meet SLA thresholds for uptime, performance, and incident response.
- Use AI/ML-assisted tools to optimize production processes, reduce manual intervention, and increase platform reliability.
- Identify vulnerabilities and continuous improvement opportunities; develop metrics and operational dashboards.
- Act as the escalation point between business, development, and technology teams.
- Communicate production risks, incidents, and service impacts clearly to stakeholders.
- Work closely with business partners to ensure alignment on priorities, readiness, and reporting requirements.
Desired Skills:- Strong production support experience in financial services, preferably in regulatory reporting.
- Good experience of SRE role
- Strong technical skills in Unix/Windows OS, SQL, Oracle, and scripting languages (Shell, Python, Perl).
- Working knowledge of monitoring systems (Dynatrace, Splunk) and batch scheduling tools (Autosys/Quartz/Airflow).
- Expertise in incident, problem, change, and request management processes.
Mandatory Skills: Linux Admin.
Experience: 5-8 Years.
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
