LCV NORTHCOM NTC: Equipment Maintenance Supervisor

Program Summary

As part of the LOGCAP NORTHCOM scope, KBR provides rapid response support to scheduled and unscheduled U.S. Army training exercises. KBR's LOGCAP team successfully completed another year of support to Warfighter operations by providing typical LOGCAP services at two locations.

Job Summary

The Technical Inspector Supervisor is responsible for the efficient management of personnel and resources to accomplish all mission requirements pertaining to the Rotational Support Operations Division (RSOD) in support of RSOI (Draw) and Regeneration (Turn-In). This position ensures excellent customer service, effective implementation of the quality control program, and compliance with all contract requirements. The role maintains close coordination with Government representatives and exercises approval authority for mission execution, personnel administration, and safety-related stop-work actions. The Technical Inspector Supervisor reports directly to the RSOD Equipment Maintenance Manager and performs other duties as assigned.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Manage personnel and resources to support RSOD mission requirements related to RSOI (Draw) and Regeneration (Turn-In).
  • Ensure excellent customer service, effective execution of the quality control program, and mission compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Maintain close coordination with Government representatives to ensure responsive support.
  • Maintain awareness of operations, projected workload, inspection results, training activities, Government requests and guidance, and safety, environmental, and personnel matters.
  • Exercise approval authority necessary to accomplish mission requirements in accordance with applicable regulations and contractual requirements.
  • Approve employee timecards.
  • Administer discipline in accordance with company policy and the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
  • Exercise stop-work authority when a safety or potential safety issue exists.
  • Directly supervise Technical Inspectors.
  • Oversee inspections of light- and heavy-duty mobile equipment, combat, tactical, and commercial vehicles and equipment.
  • Ensure inspection of complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, and electrical systems and components using computerized test sets, precision gauges, electronic sensors, injector test stands, engine scopes, and other specialized test equipment.
  • Verify that tolerance and safety requirements have been met.
  • Advise employees on the proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Train new Technical Inspectors and further develop the skills of current Technical Inspectors.
  • Monitor job-site operations and production.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and safety procedures are followed.
  • Must be able to perform under stressful conditions and meet short suspense dates.
  • Must be free of medical restrictions/limitations that prevent the performance of required duties.
  • Must be willing and able to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned/required.


Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Must possess a valid State Real ID.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in field maintenance.
  • Requires knowledge in equipment repair or equivalent experience, with thorough knowledge of field services, equipment operation, and maintenance.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and GCSS-Army.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
  • Must possess a state driver's license.
  • Must have, or be able to obtain and maintain, a NAC-I.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior military and/or LOGCAP experience working with military equipment and environments.
  • Knowledge of U.S. military regulations and OEM requirements, including OSHA and ANSI standards and regulations.


Pay
  • Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
  • Basic Compensation: $84,800 - $127,200


The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
