The Opportunity

At Lavinia Group, a division of K12 Coalition, Educational Consultants play a critical role in directly supporting partner schools across the country to achieve world-class instruction through effective professional development and instructional coaching.

  • Design and develop instructional materials and resources tailored to each partner's specific needs and strategy - this includes adapting existing Lavinia Group's materials and creating new content when needed
  • Ensure that high-quality, impactful instructional management plans, professional development, and coaching services are provided to teachers, instructional coaches, building leaders, and system leaders
  • Engage in collaborative team structures to ensure alignment between Lavinia Group team members and to continuously improve Lavinia Group instructional tools

  • Deliver model lessons and classroom demonstrations in K-12 ELA to support teacher development and highlight instructional best practices
  • Facilitate structured analysis of student work and data to identify instructional priorities, analyze misconceptions, and develop action plans
  • Actively monitor progress of partners through onsite coaching, ongoing data analysis, observation and feedback cycles, and meetings with key stakeholders to drive measurable and sustainable improvements in teaching and learning

Other Duties
  • Support the team with additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to help meet evolving organizational goals and objectives.
