Staff Design Project Manager

Job Function

Provides transmission and distribution project management expertise for construction designs and customer connections. Serves as the primary liaison from first customer contact through final project closeout.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management
  • Manage multiple transmission and distribution projects of increasing complexity.
  • Oversee projects including:
    • Underground conversion for wildfire mitigation
    • Streetlighting
    • Residential developments
    • Commercial developments
    • Industrial developments
    • System maintenance
    • Capacity additions
    • Major budgeted projects
    • Road widening projects
  • Deliver timely, reliable, cost-effective, and constructible designs that meet customer connection requirements.

Design Production
  • Conduct complex technical analyses.
  • Prepare or oversee complete engineering and construction designs utilizing:
    • Design software
    • Engineering drawings

Minimum Qualifications
Education

Bachelor's degree in one of the following (or equivalent experience):
