Full Job Description
We are seeking a thoughtful, highly organized Landscape Architecture Pursuits Coordinator to support the Los Angeles studio's proposal efforts and communications. This role will primarily coordinate responses to private-sector Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), while also supporting the studio's awards, publications, and external communications.

Working closely with the studio leadership, the Pursuits & Proposal Manager, and SWA's firmwide Marketing and Communications team, the Landscape Architectural Pursuits Coordinator will help elevate the studio's profile through responding to RFQs, publications, awards, conferences, media outreach, digital communications, and strategic storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage private-sector RFQ submissions from initial opportunity through final submission, including assembling qualifications packages, coordinating consultant teams, tracking deadlines, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Support media inquiries and coordinate with SWA's public relations consultant
  • Support proposal development through writing, editing, graphics coordination, and preparation of interview materials.
  • Coordinate with subconsultants to collect qualifications, resumes, fee information, and supporting materials for pursuit submissions.
  • Maintain project descriptions, resumes, biographies, photography, and presentation materials

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban Planning, Environmental Design, Design, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of professional experience within Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC), planning, or design industry.
  • Experience coordinating RFQs, RFPs, or proposal submissions within an AEC environment strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written, editorial, and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail (including spelling and grammar).
  • Strong graphic communication skills with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.

Preferred:
  • Experience supporting Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Planning, Engineering, or Urban Design firms.
  • Experience preparing award submissions, conference proposals, publications, or media materials.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and marketing databases.
  • Interest in climate resilience, public space, parks, infrastructure, urban design and/or environmental planning.
  • Experience coordinating photography and visual storytelling.
  • Local candidates preferred.

Compensation:

$80K-$90K / annual salary.
