Your Impact at Precedent Land Company The Project Manager oversees all phases of project management, including planning, budgeting, approvals, permitting, tendering, scheduling, and construction coordination, to ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery while maintaining design integrity and alignment with Precedent's core values.

Precedent Land Company Head Office located in
Vaughan, Ontario.
This posting is for a replacement position. The expected annual salary range for this role in $90,000 - $120,000 per year. This position is also eligible to participate in our short-term incentive program.

What We Are Looking For In addition to your expertise in land acquisition and development, here's what we'd love to see:
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Urban Planning, Real Estate or a related field.
- 7-10 years of direct work experience working in Land Development with 3+ years of supervisory and project management experience.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), MS Project, and AutoCAD.

What You'll Be Doing Each Day - Lead the approvals process on assigned projects including project visioning, planning applications, engineering approvals, and registration. Projects may include both short and long-term land holdings.
- Manage project proformas and schedules, with a focus on cost control, evaluating risk and opportunities and achieving project deliverables while ensuring financial performance objectives are met.
- Routinely update project financials for monthly reporting including budgets, recoveries and securities.
- Manage and build partnerships with project consulting team to ensure Precedent priorities are clearly communicated, including proposals and invoicing of consultants, contractors, and other specialists.
- Build and maintain relationships with local governmental offices for approvals. Attend submittal meetings, permit/plan coordination meetings.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to optimize efficiencies on delivering permit serviced lots on schedule and on budget.
- Develop, motivate and create an engaging teamwork focused environment for project coordinator(s).
- Perform other duties as assigned to advance and/or maintain established development schedules.
