As a Land Development Engineer III, you'll work with multidisciplinary design teams and support high-impact site development projects across Delaware. Your work will span site layouts and grading, stormwater management and erosion control, water and wastewater utility design, and permitting.
What You'll Do:- Assist Project Managers with technical and civil engineering design
- Perform technical engineering work associated with land development:
- Stormwater management design
- Site grading and utility design
- Erosion and sedimentation control design
- Prepare plans for agency/municipal review
- Complete various land development and environmental permitting applications
- Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors
- Candidate should be a critical thinker, be willing to learn through trial and error, be self-motivated, and be willing to put the full effort towards the task at hand
- Candidates should have a strong desire to grow and advance as engineers or technical designers
What You Bring:- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- 4-10 years of experience in land development civil-site engineering design
- Professional Engineering License required
- Familiarity with AutoCAD
- Familiarity with Civil 3D
- Familiarity with AutoCAD SSA or other stormwater modeling software
- Knowledge of green infrastructure practices, such as bioretention systems, permeable pavement, infiltration systems, and green roofs
- Must possess a valid driver's license
Salary Range:The compensation range starts at $85, 000 and is based on the position, experience, and licensures.
