The salary range for this position is $78,000 - $116,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Manage laboratory staff, including hiring, training, and developing associates to meet departmental needs.
- Perform annual collaborative testing.
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of all laboratory testing equipment.
- Manage all aspects of quality control programs such as GMP+, FSMA, and related standards.
- Integrate NIR into testing processes to reduce wet chemistry testing frequency by increasing NIR accuracy.
- Ensure safe working conditions for all associates and actively participate in the EHS committee.
- Ensure GHS hazard communication requirements are met for all chemical and SDS information.
- Ensure products meet established customer quality, service requirements, and specifications.
- Conduct regular safety audits to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Report assay results to commercial and production teams.
- Notify and coordinate with production if analyses are out of specification or quality issues arise.
Minimum Education and Experience- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Biology.
- 5-7 years of related experience.
- Understanding manufacturing technologies.
- Understanding quality control processes.
- Understanding safety and environmental programs and requirements.
- Understanding standard software applications.
- Strong communication, math, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors- Ability to move freely throughout Agribusiness facilities, including climbing vertical heights (0-150').
- Exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100°F), humidity (0-100%), and noise (50-100db; hearing protection required).
- Exposure to chemicals (MSDS sheets available).
- Required travel to remote Agribusiness and customer locations.
