This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ICP laboratory professional ready to take ownership of a high-impact lab operation within a manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll lead and develop a team of laboratory technicians, oversee critical analytical testing and product release activities, and work closely with Quality, Operations, Engineering, and Technical teams to solve problems and improve processes.

Laboratory Manager- ICP Daily Tasks: What you will do: - Lead the day-to-day activities of the Quality Control laboratory, including workload planning, testing priorities, and technician scheduling.
- Supervise, train, and develop laboratory personnel while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and accountability.
- Oversee testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to support manufacturing and timely product release.
- Review analytical results, investigate testing or product issues, and coordinate corrective actions when results fall outside specifications.
- Support laboratory instrumentation, including ICP-MS, titration equipment, calibration, validation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain laboratory documentation and ensure testing activities meet applicable quality and regulatory requirements.
- Track laboratory performance, testing turnaround times, supplies, standards, and other operational needs.
- Partner with Quality, Production, Engineering, and Technical teams to resolve manufacturing issues and improve processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve testing methods, laboratory efficiency, consistency, and overall quality performance.
Laboratory Manager- ICP Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or another related scientific discipline.
- 5+ years of analytical or Quality Control laboratory experience, preferably within chemical manufacturing, pharmaceutical, food, or another regulated manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience supervising or leading laboratory personnel.
- Strong understanding of analytical laboratory equipment and testing methods; experience with ICP-MS and titration is highly desirable.
- Experience supporting raw material, in-process, and finished-product testing within a manufacturing operation.
- Working knowledge of regulated quality practices such as cGMP, cGLP, ISO, USP/FCC, HACCP, or comparable standards.
