Job Title: Labor Relations Representative 3

Location(s): San Francisco, CA
(Hybrid: 4 days onsite)

Required Experience:
  • Strong hands-on employee relations experience in a unionized environment.
  • Experience writing disciplinary and corrective action documentation.
  • Coaching and counseling managers on employee relations matters.
  • Managing high-volume ER cases with legally defensible documentation.
  • Direct experience interpreting and applying collective bargaining agreements (CBAs).
  • Experience handling grievances and union-related disputes.
  • Exposure to labor negotiations or bargaining support activities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to advise mid- and senior-level leadership.
  • Execution-oriented approach with willingness to handle day-to-day labor relations work directly.

Preferred Experience:
  • Public sector experience.
  • Higher education or academic environment experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain positive labor-management relations.
  • Interpret and ensure compliance with labor contracts and policies.
  • Handle grievances, complaints, and disciplinary matters.
  • Participate in labor negotiations and bargaining activities.

Work Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
