Job DescriptionThe Michigan Civil Service Commission is looking for a motivated individual who is detail-oriented, organized, ensures compliance with rules and regulations, and is interested in working in a fast-paced Human Resources environment. This position serves as a State Administrative Manager of the Labor/Employment Relations for the Department of Transportation.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience working in a human resource office and a strong understanding of the labor relations field.
- Ability to investigate, interpret, and apply policies rules, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Exemplary analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to guide, train and support the Labor Relations team.
