Full Job Description
A minimum of 5 years' experience with counseling public, private, union, and/or non-union clients in matters involving a wide range of labor and employment matters, including employment compliance, workplace investigations into employee complaints, misconduct and discipline matters, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour claims and employment litigation. Candidates must have experience in drafting, reviewing and updating employment-related documents, including handbooks, employment agreements, severance agreements, and non-compete/non-solicitation agreements.
Candidates must be licensed to practice in New York State or eligible to waive into the New York State Bar. Candidates must have superior verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills and have demonstrated abilities to work directly with clients and develop and execute service strategies.
Salary Range: $120,000 to $155,000.
This salary range represents the firm's good-faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for the position and does not include performance- or merit-based bonuses or other benefits offered by the firm. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's years of experience, qualifications, skill set, and office location.
