What You'll DoAs the Clinical Laboratory Manager, you'll partner with the Laboratory Director to ensure our lab operates at the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and compliance. You'll balance hands-on technical knowledge with strong leadership and organizational skills to keep daily operations running smoothly and support the growth of your team.
- Oversee daily laboratory operations and workflow to maintain accuracy and efficiency
- Implement and monitor lab policies, procedures, and quality control standards
- Support operating and capital budget planning while managing resources responsibly
- Develop and maintain staffing plans to ensure adequate coverage across shifts
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and mentoring laboratory staff
- Provide input on staff performance evaluations and professional development
- Work alongside staff on the bench, performing testing and supporting day-to-day lab functions
Who We're Looking For- Completion of a Bachelors of Science in Medical Technology or equivalent is required.
- Must be ASCP / AMT certified or equivalent.
- Must have an American Heart Association approved BLS card within 3 months of initial employment and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.
- One-year supervisory experience required.
