Full Job Description
A2 Global Electroncis and Solutions is looking for a Manager for our Electrical components lab in St. Petersburg , Fl. The ideal candiate will have previous experience working in a laboratory and supervising employees in a lab facility.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Supervise the day-to-day activities of the internal testing facility and personnel.

2. Provide continuous training to all lab personnel to ensure work is completed with the highest level of competence.

3. Support and mentor subordinates to assist in their professional development.

4. Conduct performance evaluations & improvement plans for all lab personnel.

5. Prioritize the daily workflow for technicians and engineers to ensure timely completion of work orders.

6. Ensure all testing procedures comply with appropriate internal and external standards.

7. Coordinate and assist customers and vendors on a wide variety of quality concerns including Failure Analysis and Corrective Actions.

8. Actively participate & assist with quality audits and on-site customer visits.

9. Develop test plans to meet customer specific standards and requirements

10. Ensure all current policies, procedures and directives are followed.

Qualifications:

1. 4-year engineering degree

2. Five years hands on inspection and testing of electronic components

3. Proven ability to train and develop lab technicians and component engineers

4. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

5. Excellent written and oral communication skills.

6. Possess a strong background in quality control inspection & authentication of electronic components.

7. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, subordinates, and all levels of management.
