A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Clinical Research Scientist

Responsible for leading assay development, validation, and implementation within a high-complexity clinical laboratory environment. Expertise in molecular techniques, QA, SOP development, instrument verification, and CLIA/CAP compliance required. Drive data analysis, workflow optimization, and troubleshooting while partnering cross-functionally to support clinical research and lab operations. Key responsibilities include lead assay development, validation, and implementation, Oversee sample analysis, QA, regulatory compliance (CLIA/CAP), and Support lab operations through SOPs, instrument verification, and technical leadership

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelors in Life Science, Biology, or Clinical Laboratory Science and 4-7 years research/development experience Or Master's and 3-5 year's experience or PhD and 1-2 year's experience
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency, scientific creativity, successful collaboration with others, and independent thought.
  • Minimum 4 years laboratory experience in High Complexity testing plus QA training or 2 years clinical QA experience
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Molecular techniques, digital imaging, multiplex immunolabeling, digital pathology, image analysis or processing, bioinformatics/computational biol
