Position Title: LA- Senior Employment Litigation Associate
Take the lead on sophisticated employment litigation with a nationally recognized labor and employment firm.
Salary: $200 - $260k/ Year DOE + Bonus
Responsibilities: - Independently manage employment litigation matters from start to finish
- Develop case strategy and manage client communications and deadlines
- Draft pleadings, discovery, and dispositive and non-dispositive motions
- Take and defend depositions and appear at hearings
- Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations
- Handle wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, class, collective, and PAGA matters
- Collaborate with partners and mentor junior attorneys
Requirements - 7+ years of employment litigation experience preferred
- Proven ability to independently manage complex employment matters
- Strong California wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, class, collective, and PAGA experience
- Strong motion, deposition, writing, analytical, and client management skills
- California Bar admission and strong academic credentials
- Proactive, self-directed, and collaborative approach
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and take ownership of matters
