Full Job Description
Our current HR Director is returning to her home in Arizona, so we are seeking our next leader to join the team. This role is a full-time onsite position and is a strategic, hands-on leadership opportunity reporting directly to the COO.

This role works closely with senior leadership and managers across the organization. If hired, you'll help determine who we need, how we organize our teams, how we develop our people, and how our workforce supports the financial and operational performance of the Company. We are seeking a true HR professional who will:

Build the Team

Develop recruiting strategies, strengthen our talent pipeline, improve quality of hire, and help KWS attract and retain exceptional people.

Shape the Organization

Develop workforce plans that align people, organizational structure, compensation, and staffing with our growth and financial objectives.

Develop Leaders

Coach managers, strengthen leadership capabilities, improve performance management, and build greater accountability throughout the organization.

Build the Culture

Create an environment where people are engaged, communication is strong, expectations are clear, and employees can do their best work.

Influence Business Decisions

Bring an HR perspective to organizational and financial decisions-and help leadership understand the business impact of workforce choices.

Build the HR Function

Use data, technology, and better processes to make HR more effective, efficient, and valuable to the organization.

Your Background Should Include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 8+ years of progressive senior HR leadership experience; strategic in thinking, but hands-on in execution.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, construction, distribution or another operational environment with an understanding of workforce planning, safety programs, and operational labor requirements, strongly preferred.
  • Outgoing, approachable and highly people-oriented.
  • Exceptional communicator and relationship builder with demonstrated success partnering with executive leadership on business and organizational strategy.
  • Experience leading organizational change, workforce planning, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Strong background in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and HR operations.
  • Passionate about developing people and building strong teams.
  • Experience building or significantly improving HR programs, systems, and infrastructure.
  • SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or PHR certification is a plus.
