DescriptionJoin Our Team as a Key Accounts ManagerAs a Key Accounts Manager (KAM), you will play a critical role in managing and growing some of Advanced Composites' most strategically important customer relationships. You will serve as the commercial leader for assigned key accounts, developing long-term strategies that drive profitable growth while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
In this highly visible role, you'll work closely with customers, Sales Leadership, R&D, Technical Services, Operations, and regional teams to identify new opportunities, strengthen partnerships, and deliver value-added solutions. Your ability to build trust, influence decision-makers, and navigate complex business environments will be essential to your success.
What You'll Do- Develop and execute strategic account plans that align with company objectives and profitability goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders across purchasing, engineering, materials, product development, and manufacturing functions.
- Serve as the primary commercial contact for assigned key accounts.
- Lead customer discussions related to pricing, quality, delivery performance, business reviews, and escalation management.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, applications, and growth initiatives within existing and prospective accounts.
- Collaborate with the OEM Business Leader to secure profitable new and existing business.
- Provide accurate monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range planning projections.
- Partner with Customer Solutions, Operations, Technical Services, and R&D to address customer needs and support business growth.
- Travel regularly to customer locations to strengthen relationships, understand future business opportunities, and provide strategic support.
- Support collection efforts and help manage outstanding accounts receivable balances.
- Work collaboratively with ACP Mexico and other regional teams to ensure alignment on shared customer initiatives.
- Deliver market insights regarding customer strategies, OEM activity, industry trends, and competitive developments.

- SAP experience is beneficial.
Experience- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive, chemical, plastics, composites, or related industrial sales environments preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing customer accounts and developing profitable business relationships.
- Experience interacting with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, or other automotive industry stakeholders is highly desirable.
Education- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications, or a related field required.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered.
Work EnvironmentThis position may operate remotely and requires regular travel to customer facilities, manufacturing locations, and business meetings. Candidates must maintain a professional home office environment and be available to attend in-person meetings, training sessions, and customer visits as needed.
Travel requirements may be up to 50%, depending on customer needs and location.
