Full Job Description
Your role

The Key Account Manager is responsible for identifying and implementing strategic business opportunities and profitability for the business. This role will assist in development and implementation of technology, marketing and business strategies to aid in managing and developing business across all Vacuum Business Lines. The role holder will contribute to the growth and capability development of the North America Customer Center and the strategic goals of the Vacuum Technique Business Area.

You will:
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies, aligned to the divisional strategy, to build and reinforce target market share and profitability of assigned accounts
• Establish, and maintain strong contacts at all levels of their organization to foster good working relationships and promote business opportunities
• Obtain and drive market share growth within assigned accounts
• Drive account with relevant, available and new products
• Develop a satisfied customer that allows us to do sustainable business and to fulfil our mission to be first in mind and first in choice at assigned accounts
• Handle major sales and negotiations for the account
• Co-ordination of activities between all equipment and service business lines
• CRM, forecasting and inputs to S&OP process. Forecasting of account demand profile for all Business Lines.
• Monitors projected sales volume, delivery and special requirements at customer sites. Modifies forecasts as required to ensure accurate demand planning and account budgets are met.
• Ownership of the Opportunity funnel objectives and account Action Plans - Drive all Divisions and VT to ensure success of this new opportunity with support from Business Line Managers
• Conduct customer negotiations at all levels, utilizing the assistance of other managers when required to win the business and thereafter maintain continuity throughout the sales and service and after-care activities
• Report on competitive activities

You have a Bachelor's degree in an engineering or relevant discipline or equivalent working experience and experience in the Vacuum industry. You will also have:
• Proven track record in sales and marketing
• High commercial and technical experience
• Possession of business and financial acumen
• Strong background in semiconductor and general industry, or experience in relevant market.
• Strategic and conceptual capability to lead and develop a regional business
• Dynamic with strong entrepreneurial and leadership skills
• Fluent in English - both verbally and written

Job location

This role is remote, enabling you to work from home, with travel in your responsible region. The ideal candidate will be based in Southern California or Arizona.

Salary Range: $118,000 - $130,000 annually. In addition to items such as benefits, bonus, etc. Salary is based on average. Final salary may vary based on factors such as geographic location, experience, job-related skills, internal peer equity, etc.
