Job Description

As an IT Project Manager at Kearney Activate, you will play a critical leadership role in delivering large scale ERP and digital transformation initiatives for global clients. You will work closely with client stakeholders, internal specialists, and external partners to oversee complex technology programs from strategy through execution, with a strong emphasis on SAP S 4HANA migrations and enterprise platform implementations.

This is a management focused role centered on project governance, stakeholder alignment, and delivery excellence rather than hands on system configuration. You will help clients navigate transformation journeys that modernize their core systems, enable scalability, and drive long term business value.

You will support engagements end to end, from defining transformation roadmaps and implementation strategies through execution oversight, risk management, and change adoption.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading ERP and digital transformation programs end to end, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Overseeing planning, execution, governance, and reporting for major IT implementations
  • Managing senior client stakeholders and communicating progress, risks, and decisions clearly and confidently
  • Identifying risks, developing mitigation strategies, and managing escalations across complex programs
  • Coordinating and aligning cross functional teams, external vendors, and implementation partners
  • Analyzing business processes and translating requirements into practical transformation roadmaps
  • Supporting vendor selection, tender processes, and partner management
  • Driving change management initiatives to ensure successful system adoption and business readiness
  • Contributing consulting expertise to client engagements in manufacturing and or wholesale retail environments

Who you are:

After nearly 100 years, we know this business is fundamentally about making connections between strategy, technology, and people. We are looking for collaborative, confident leaders who thrive in complex environments and are motivated by helping clients successfully transform how they operate.

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • An academic background in Information Technology or a related field
  • Five to ten years of professional experience in IT project management or consulting
  • A proven track record leading major IT or ERP implementations
  • Experience working in consulting or other client facing environments
  • Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Business Central, or similar systems
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to bridge business and IT stakeholders
  • Experience managing vendors, partners, and large-scale programs
  • SAP knowledge, preferably with S 4HANA migration experience
  • Experience in manufacturing and or wholesale retail industries
  • PMP or other project management certifications, preferred

What we can offer you

Every day, our people work to be the difference for our clients, our communities, and our colleagues. At Kearney Activate, you will be part of a specialist team focused on building high performing digital, data, and ERP capabilities while shaping the future of enterprise transformation.

We offer a competitive remuneration package and comprehensive benefits, including but not limited to:

  • Generous retirement and pension savings contributions
  • Comprehensive medical insurance for employees and immediate family
  • Gym membership discounts
  • Structured and on the job learning and development opportunities across digital, data, and enterprise platforms
  • Personalized career paths including talent mobility, flexible work programs, and externships
  • The opportunity to work with leading clients across industries on high impact SAP, supply chain, and connected planning transformations

Compensation range: $100K-$160k . It is important to note that at Kearney, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Kearney reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness. In addition to salary, individuals may be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus. Our full suite of benefits includes paid time off, paid sick leave, 401(k) match and profit sharing, medical, dental, and vision coverage, healthcare concierge services, backup child/adult care, annual employer HSA contributions, a home office stipend, subsidized gym membership, an annual wellness program, and leaves of absence when needed to support employees' physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
