ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIRED
We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Junior Systems Engineer to support of the Report Authoring and Dissemination (RAD) team. In this collaborative role, you will assist with overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of a mission-critical system. You will work directly at the intersection of customer needs and technical execution-partnering with systems engineers, software developers, and UX teams to ensure mission-driven capabilities are accurately defined, built, tested, and delivered.
The annual base salary range for this role is $110,000-$160,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
Required Skills
Agile Systems Engineering: Hands-on experience participating in Agile delivery workflows across the full software development lifecycle.
Requirements & Solution Definition: Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, UX designers, and software engineers to accurately capture, refine, and translate user needs into technical solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage tactically with development teams and maintain close relationships with customers and end-users.
Testing & Delivery Support: Exposure to testing, validating, and ensuring high-quality software solution delivery against customer requirements.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, PLUS 7+ years of professional software engineering experience OR High School Diploma / GED, PLUS 11+ years of hands-on technical software development experience in lieu of a degree.
Desired Skills
Report Authoring & Dissemination (RAD): Familiarity with intelligence reporting, authoring systems, or dissemination frameworks.
Agile Tooling: Hands-on familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar issue-tracking and workflow platforms.
UX/UI Interaction: Basic understanding of user experience (UX) design principles and human-centered software engineering.
