The Opportunity: - Begin your systems engineering career on an Agile program delivering GEOINT capabilities to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).
- Learn the discipline hands-on - requirements, interfaces, verification - with senior engineers guiding you.
- Contribute to mission-critical systems that enable intelligence analysis and mission execution.
- Build a foundation across software, data, and infrastructure engineering in a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities: - Support requirements analysis, documentation, and traceability under senior guidance.
- Assist in developing and maintaining interface documentation and engineering artifacts.
- Support verification and validation activities including test documentation and execution support.
- Help investigate system issues and document analysis and resolutions.
- Maintain engineering documentation and configuration records.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies as part of a cross-functional team.
- Follow established engineering processes, checklists, and standards.
Qualifications: Required:
- Security Clearance (TS/SCI) with ability to obtain Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline (equivalent experience accepted).
- 0-3 years of engineering experience (academic, internship, or professional).
- Foundational understanding of systems engineering or software development lifecycle concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and written communication skills.
- Ability to apply established processes and work effectively within a team.
Desired:
- Exposure to requirements or test management tools.
- Coursework or projects involving GIS, data systems, or cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices.

$58,000-$115,900
