Junior Scrum Master to join our Minotaur software development team. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact, foster innovation, and drive project efficiency.

hybrid role based in our
Columbia, MD office.

Essential Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Junior Scrum Master, you will be a key leader in helping our team thrive. You'll work closely with team members and the product owner to ensure project goals are met on time. Your responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating Scrum Ceremonies: You'll lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, ensuring the team stays on track and works together effectively.
- Improving Processes: You'll help the team identify and remove obstacles, continually looking for ways to improve workflows and overall performance.
- Promoting an Agile Mindset: You'll coach and mentor the team on agile principles, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
- Building Strong Relationships: You will collaborate with stakeholders to make sure everyone is aligned with project goals, while also providing guidance and support to team members.
- Monitoring Progress: You'll help track and report on team performance, ensuring transparency and open communication.
Minimum Qualifications- 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
- Strong interest to obtain a relevant Scrum certification such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP).
- Familiarity with Jira.
- A strong understanding of servant leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution, and empowerment.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Preferred Requirements- 1 year of Scrum Master experience.
- Knowledge of various Scrum techniques (e.g., burndown charts, retrospective formats, bug handling).
- Achieved relevant Scrum certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP).
- An active Secret security clearance.
Physical RequirementsMay require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
