The Opportunity

Build the Future with Us - We're seeking a Junior Chemical Engineer to join our Water Treatment team in Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, or Edmonton. You'll contribute to impactful water and wastewater treatment projects across industrial, municipal, and mining sectors, with opportunities for hands-on field exposure. This is an excellent role for early-career engineers and new graduates looking to grow within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Your Impact
  • Integrate into a national water treatment team and build strong working relationships through proactive communication.
  • Prepare technical deliverables including reports, proposals, process schematics, specifications, and layout drawings.
  • Support process engineering analysis and design, including technology selection, equipment sizing, process modelling, mass balances, hydraulic assessments, and 3D layout development.
  • Participate in projects from concept and feasibility through detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations support.
  • Balance work across multiple simultaneous projects, adapting to evolving schedules and priorities.
  • Coordinate with colleagues, vendors, and-over time-clients and subcontractors, as your project experience deepens.
  • Provide technical and project support to intermediate and senior engineers.
  • Engage in ongoing skill development and mentorship to enhance your technical and consulting capabilities.
  • Work primarily in an office or hybrid environment, with short site visits and occasional longer field assignments as required.

  • Undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering (graduate studies an asset).
  • Registered or eligible to register as an EIT or P.Eng with a Canadian engineering regulator (EGBC / APEGA).
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience; co-op and internship experience considered.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; French an asset.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with strong time-management abilities.
  • Experience using engineering software and commercial tools for technical problem-solving.
  • Interest or experience in proposal development and business development activities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience with process modelling tools such as HYSYS/HYSIM, OLI, or Metsim is an asset.
  • Field experience is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license.

Compensation:

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $73,400 - $97,200
MB & ON: $67,000 - $92,200
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $66,300 - $88,000
