Overview:

INTECON is seeking a Journeyman Mission Support Specialist to support the U.S. Air Force A33B Mission Assurance Construct Support (MACS) program by planning, supporting, and managing Mission Assurance assessments and coordinating assessment activities within a Pentagon SCIF environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and support Mission Assurance (MA) assessment activities across the assessment lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain assessment schedules, plans, and coordination documents
  • Support data collection efforts including Mission Assurance Risk and Priority Assessment (MARPA) and Asset Health and Threat Assessment (AHTA) integration
  • Coordinate with installation-level personnel, MAJCOMs, and HAF stakeholders to schedule and execute assessments
  • Prepare assessment briefings, read-ahead materials, and after-action reports
  • Track assessment findings, recommendations, and corrective action implementation
  • Maintain assessment documentation libraries and records management systems
  • Support quality assurance processes to ensure assessment consistency and compliance with MA policies
  • Coordinate logistics and administrative requirements for assessment teams
Clearance Requirements:
  • Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI with caveats. U.S. Citizenship required.
Qualifications:

  • Experience with DoD or Air Force assessment, inspection, or evaluation programs
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent activities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Air Force Mission Assurance assessments or Critical Infrastructure Protection programs
  • Familiarity with MARPA, AHTA, or similar DoD risk assessment methodologies
  • Prior experience coordinating activities across multiple organizational levels (installation, MAJCOM, HAF)
  • Knowledge of Air Force governance and decision-making processes
  • Experience with Palantir Foundry or similar data platforms
